Giorgos Machias studied Graphic Arts at the Graphic Arts Department of the TEI of Athens (degree 1988) and attended the Departments of Architectural Decoration and Design (1987) and Visual Communication and Advertising (1992) at the Vakalo’s College.
He graduates from the University of Westminster of the United Kingdom, where he obtained the Msc title in Interactive Multimedia.
He worked as a Publishing Editor and Art Director in publishing, newspapers, magazines and from 1993 to 2008 as a freelancer in image processing, creation of multimedia applications, the study and creation of corporate identity and publish editing. He has taken part in conferences and exhibitions both in organization and as a lecturer.
In the Department of Photography and Audiovisual Arts he has been teaching Digital Photographic Image Processing and Multimedia since 1995.
