This annual exhibition held at the Benaki Museum (from September 17 to November 15) within the framework of the international Athens Photo Festival aims to highlight new creators and contributes to their efforts to gain access to the visual space. Out of the 380 young creators who submitted their works this year, fourteen were selected and among them the students and graduates of our Department Katerina Digoni with the section Erased scenes from an Untouched Landscape, Persephone Mihou with the section The Perfect Blue, Francesca Giaitzoglou-Watkinson with the Radius section and George Papastergis with the CCTV-20 section. In particular, the works of Digonis and Michos come from the workshops of the Critical Theory of Photography course. It should be noted that the production of these workshops consists of photography units with a specific theme which is in line with international trends in photography and often leads our students with their thesis to international festivals and awards.
