ACADEMIC CALENDAR
The academic year begins on September 1 and ends on August 31 of the following calendar year. The educational work of each academic year is structured chronologically into two semesters of study, winter and spring. Each semester of study includes 13 weeks of teaching. At the end of each semester, there is a three-week examination period.
The academic calendar indicates the start and end dates of:
the winter and spring semester courses,
the winter and spring semester examination periods, as well as the September re-examination,
the Christmas and Easter holidays.
The academic calendar also describes the official holidays of each semester. The academic calendar is announced before the start of each academic year, following a relevant decision by the Senate of the University of West Attica.

Open Day: Friday, March 21, 2025

Replacement of spring semester classes: Monday, June 16, 2025 to Friday, June 20, 2025, (1 week)
Start of spring semester 1st semester exams: Monday, June 23, 2025

Beginning of exams for the second period of the spring semester: Monday, September 1, 2025
