Mr. Konstantinos Karampelas was born in Athens in 1974.
Academic Qualifications
He holds two postgraduate degrees:
- • The first degree in “Graphic Arts Multimedia” from the Hellenic Open University (EAP) 2016
- • The second degree in photography from the “Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts” University of Plovdiv, Bulgaria (2012), recognized by D.O.A.T.A.P. (2013).
- • He graduated from the Department of Photography and Audiovisual of the Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Athens in 1998.
Work Experience
He works as a permanent associate. Laboratory Teaching Staff (E.DI.P.) in the Department of Photography and Audio-Visual of the University of West Attica (PA.D.A.)
Since 2013, he has been teaching the following courses:
- • Video Theory & Technique I
- • Essay I
- • Image Composition
- • Photo and Video Document
- • Video and Audio-Audio Production Organization
- • Digital Photographic Printing Methodology
- • Short Film Production
From 2002 to 2010, he collaborated as a Laboratory Associate with the Graphic Design department of TEI Athens in Photography courses.
Since 1999 he has taught Photography, Video and Lighting in various public IEK,
He has worked as a photographer for various press magazines since 1996 and his work has been awarded and presented in 13 solo and 14 group exhibitions.
