ΕΠΙΚΑΙΡΟΠΟΙΗΜΕΝΟ ΠΡΩΤΟΚΟΛΛΟ TOY ΠΑΝΕΠΙΣΤΗΜΙΟΥ ΔΥΤΙΚΗΣ ΑΤΤΙΚΗΣ ΓΙΑ ΤΗΝ ΑΠΟΜΟΝΩΣΗ ΤΩΝ ΚΡΟΥΣΜΑΤΩΝ COVID-19

 

 

“Protocol of the University of Western Attica for the Isolation of COVID-19 Cases and Quarantine of Close Contacts of COVID-19 Cases” – September 2022 A. People with confirmed Sars-Cov-2 infection – Isolation: • Stay in isolation for five ( 5) days at least and avoiding contact with other people. • The day of symptoms and/or receiving the positive test is considered as day 0, followed by 5 days of isolation. • The end of the isolation is after the 5th day if the symptoms have subsided and the fever has subsided completely for a full 24 hours without the use of antipyretics. • Mandatory use of a high respiratory protection mask (N95 or KN95 or FFP2) or a double mask for at least another five (5) days from the end of the isolation B. People who came into contact with a confirmed case – Quarantine: • They are not quarantined, but make ANY strict use of a high respiratory protection mask (N95 or KN95 or FFP2) or double mask for ten (10) days. • Performing a laboratory test (PCR or Rapid Antigen Test) on the 5th day after exposure. • If the confirmed case lives or works in the same area as the person, the laboratory test is carried out on days 0 and 5. • If at any time within the 10 days they develop symptoms and/or the test(s) comes out positive, the persons become a case (case A). ./.. For the conduct of the examinations, the provisions in article 11 of it with number 48760/Z1/29-04-2022 (F .EC 2131/30-04-2022, v. B) of the Joint Ministerial Decision, regarding the “Operation of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and measures to avoid the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19 during the academic year 2021-2022” that “The use of a protective non-medical mask is mandatory throughout the examination for all participants in it.”. D. Strong recommendation to wear a mask in all closed areas of the University Masks are strongly recommended in all closed areas of the PADA, including corridors. and E. Hygiene measures • Particular emphasis is placed on good ventilation of all educational spaces and therefore on the provision for the required time between the use of the educational spaces by different groups of students/courses. • Disinfection of hands and, if possible, surfaces.
