Gounari Dimitra

Dimitra Gounari teaches in the Department of Photography and Audiovisual Arts at the University of Western Attica and is a PhD candidate in the Department of Sound and Image of the Ionian University. He holds a Master of Arts in Image and Communication from Goldsmiths College-University London U.K., with a scholarship from the I.K.Y. Greek  Scholarship Foundation and is a graduate of the Department of Photography of the TEI of Athens. She has worked in  research projects and has taught the IB DP Visual Arts course while she has taken part in conferences and exhibitions in Greece, Belgium, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, etc. At the same time, she writes articles in magazines, curates exhibitions and is an IB DP Visual Arts examiner. Her artistic work has been published in catalogs in the Greek and international press. Also, it has received distinctions and awards from institutions and photography competitions and is in private and public collections.
